Hello! I’m a philosopher working primarily at the intersection of ethics and cognitive science.
I’m a Lecturer IV and the Associate Director of the Weinberg Institute for Cognitive Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Before joining the Weinberg Institute, I completed my PhD at the University of Michigan in 2018, then spent the 2018-19 academic year as a visiting Assistant Professor of philosophy at Amherst College. Before graduate school, I studied philosophy, psychology, & Indonesian studies at the University of Sydney.
In my free time I especially enjoy biking, cooking, being close to the ocean, and hanging out with dogs (this one in particular).
Feel free to contact me at mbollard@umich.edu, or find me on PhilPeople.
